NCRAC Compendium Report 1989-96
Description
This compendium report for the period May 1, 1989 through
August 31, 1996 is part of a larger, more complete USDA report
for all the regional aquaculture centers.
The North Central Regional Aquaculture Center
(NCRAC) was established in February 1988. It serves as a
focal point to assess needs, establish priorities, and
implement research and extension educational programs in the
twelve state agricultural heartland of the United States which
includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri,
Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and
Wisconsin. NCRAC also provides coordination of
interregional and national programs through the National
Coordinating Council for Aquaculture (NCC). The council
is composed of the RAC directors and USDA aquaculture
personnel.
