Costs of Pond Production of Yellow Perch in the North Central Region, 1994-95

The development of culture methods for yellow perch has sparked interest throughout the North Central Region (NCR). As a result, a substantial amount of research on yellow perch culture methods has been undertaken in the region in recent years.

Economic research on yellow perch, however, has been more limited. The budget work reported in this publication, Costs of Pond Production of Yellow Perch in the North Central Region 1994-95,  is the result of an effort by Purdue University and the North Central Regional Aquaculture Center (NCRAC) to provide economic information on yellow perch production in ponds.
