In September, 2003, at the request of the North Central
Regional Aquaculture Center's Industry Advisory Committee, a
survey was conducted in the 12 North Central Region states and
9 surrounding states for the purpose of obtaining current
information regarding regional:
- State Aquacuture
Contacts and Coordinators
-
Fish Health Certification
-
Aquaculture Transportation Requirements
-
Aquaculture Best Management Practices
(BMPs)
-
Approved Aquatic Species
Results of this survey can be accessed by selecting individual
states listed below. In surveys conducted September 2003
through May 2004, there were no reported BMPs for aquaculture.
State-adopted BMPs will be listed once they become
available.
This survey was conducted by researchers at Michigan
